MBBR biochip is a high-performance MBBR carrier that provides a protected active surface area.5,500 m2/m3 was used to immobilize microorganisms responsible for different aquatic biological treatment processes. This scientifically proven active surface area is comparable to the range of 350-800 m2 / m3 offered by competing solutions. Its application is characterized by high removal rate and reliable process stability.  
It provides a protected active surface of more than 5,500 m2/m3 , its paraboloid flake shape optimizes suspension and constant movement in biological reactors, avoiding clogging in retention areas.
The transport medium is used in moving bed reactors with biological treatment for treatment plants with high organic loads. The unique protected surface of our conveying media allows for significantly smaller plant reactors and tanks, thereby reducing operating and maintenance costs.
