Efficient Polishing Media Brown Corundum Abrasive Grinding Stone

XF-A type Corundum Abrasive Polishing Media refers to the brown corundum type abrasive produced by Xingfeng. The product is made of selected brown corundum with an alumina content of above 95% as the main material, which is fully mixed with ceramic material, mixed with water, trapped material, vacuum mixing, extrusion molding, mechanical cutting, drying, and high-temperature burning.


 The product is mainly used for deburring, flying edge removal, oxidation scale removal, rust spots, grain marks, burrs and other grinding (rough grinding, medium grinding), mechanical polishing (vibration polishing, drum polishing, centrifugal polishing, magnetic polishing, eddy current polishing) and finishing processing of hardware parts such as stainless steel, carbon steel, steel parts, aluminum alloys, etc.

Widely used for rough polishing and medium polishing of metal and non-metal parts, especially suitable for irregular removal of burrs, burrs, water chestnuts, oxide scales, rust, etc. generated by cutting, grinding, punching, casting, etc. It is also suitable for polishing and finishing of thin-walled, narrow gap, and irregular hole cavities with complex geometric shapes and easy deformation on the surface.

Selection Principles
(1)Material:based on processing efficiency and wear requirements, as well as workplace material and hardness requirements, work  with a Mohs hardness below 9.0
(2)Shape:Choose the shape of the abrasive according to the shape of the workpiece groove, corner, edge, hole, hole, etc., and choose a shape that is not easy for the abrasive to get stuck in the workpiece.
(3)Dimension:Select according to the surface roughness of the workpiece before machining and the required surface fineness after machining. For precision machining, choose abrasive with finer particle size, and for rough machining, choose abrasive with coarser particle size; When processing small parts, the abrasive should not be too large, and when processing large parts, the abrasive should not be too small. When processing parts with holes or grooves, choose a large abrasive that is 1.5 times larger than the holes or grooves, and choose a small abrasive that is 1/3 smaller than the holes or grooves.
(4)Ratio of abrasive to workpiece:The ratio of abrasive to workpiece is recommended to be selected within the range of 2:1 to 5:1, with rough machining at the front and precision machining at the back.

Characteristic & Application
(1)High Moh's hardness,light blue gray solid, odorless and non-toxic, high melting point, high toughness, Mohs hardness exceeding 9.0, can be used for polishing and finishing materials such as ordinary steel, alloy steel, malleable cast iron, hard bronze, etc.
(2)Uniform particle size, small tolerance for abrasive shape, small deviation in specifications and dimensions, less likely to get stuck in holes or grooves, and high grinding efficiency.
(3)High strength, high purity of brown corundum, good crystallization, abrasive does not explode, pulverize, or crack, strong cutting ability, and long service life.
